i'm rayan. i study computer science at waterloo and business at laurier.
right now i build ai products at magic hour (yc w24) and lead the technical side of waterloo forge, a 13-person builder group i co-founded.
i learn by shipping: a study site 600 classmates used in its first 8 hours, a voice planner that won 2 tracks at pivothacks, and a local-first ai assistant.

2× pivothacks winnervoice-first planner for overloaded students. talk through your day; it pulls out tasks and constraints and answers with one thing to do now, what is next and what can wait. i led a team of 4 through 4 forced pivots, and cut plan time from 28s to 4s.

600 users in 8 hoursa free study site i built overnight before laurier's ec120 midterm (~2,400 students). notes with interactive diagrams, 129 flashcards, 149 mcqs, 17 worked problems and a timed 40-question mock, with spaced repetition and synced progress. scrypt auth, rate limiting, zero npm dependencies.
